The workshop on the “Future of Automotive Industry in Pakistan ” aims to share the vision of the leading auto industrialists and eminent economists on how they envision the future auto industry of Pakistan for becoming a major driver of economic growth.
Transformation of this sector into a globally competitive and export oriented industry needs foreign direct investment, acquisition of latest technologies, expansion in existing capacities and rationalization of tariff regime for its integration into the global supply chain. The workshop would provide an excellent platform to initiate the dialogue process on the key issues of the automotive industry, challenges ahead thus framing a strategy to trigger growth in this industry. |
