Rules and Regulations

Korean Trade Fairs 

•  The participation / confirmation of companies registering for this event would be subject to detailed screening of their profiles by the Organizing Committee (OC).

•  Selection of exhibitors/ delegates shall be the sole prerogative of the Organizing Committee. Selection would be subject to screening by the Organizing Committee as per defined criteria. The right to grant or refuse visa rests with the embassy concerned and as such the Organizing Committee shall not be responsible for provision of visas or any inconvenience caused therein.

•  The selected delegates would be required to submit the following documents to the Organizing Committee before September 25 th 2005 for securing of visa in time:

Dully filled Visa Application Form

b.

National tax number certificate

c.

Company & personal tax payment receipt

(Original & Copy)

d.

Company registration certificate

(Sales tax registration & company registration or

Import & Export license)

e.

Bank statement for previous six months.

f.

Covering letter on company's letterhead verifying the relationship between visitor and the company or visa request letter addressed to visa counselor, Korean embassy Karachi office.

g.

Business relationship supporting documents sales contract, bill of lading, L/C copy or any payment receipt in Korea etc.

Visa fee Rs. 1,800/- (non-refundable)

•  All the expenses related to this visit shall be borne by the individual companies / delegates and the organizing committee in any case shall not be responsible for any expenditure incurred during the delegates stay in Korea while attending these events.

•  All the delegates would be required to travel as a group and shall strictly abide to the itinerary as finalized by Organizing Committee and Korean Trade - Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). No change of flight schedules / routes whatsoever would be allowed except under special circumstances as articulated in S. No. 6.

•  Registered delegates already traveling to other countries in connection with exhibitions / business trips / any other commitments and wishing to join the delegation attending the Korean Fairs shall have to seek prior permission of the Organizing Committee.

•  In case of late joining of such delegates, all costs relating to accommodation reserved (if any) by the organizers for the delegates as at No. 6 shall be borne by the individual company / delegate.

•  It would be obligatory for all the delegates who have opted to avail the special traveling package (inclusive of air ticket and hotel accommodation) arranged by the Organizing Committee / KOTRA to stay at the Hotels arranged for them except in special circumstances as articulated in S. No. 9.

•  In case of delegates wishing to make their own accommodation arrangements, prior intimation / permission of the Organizing Committee would be required. In such cases, the delegates shall provide the Organizing Committee complete address, telephone numbers where delegates intend to stay and contact person / owner of the place at least one week after the cut off date of registration i. e. September 15 th 2005 .

•  The passports of all the delegates shall remain in the custody of the Group Coordinator for the purpose of facilitating immigration clearance and will be handed over to delegates after immigration clearance at Seoul . The air tickets of all the delegates shall remain in the custody of Group Coordinator for safety purposes.

•  It would be compulsory for all the delegates to wear chest tags provided by the Organizing Committee at all airports and wherever the situation demands in order to avoid any untoward incident in the visiting country.

•  It would be obligatory for all the delegates to attend the business meetings/ industrial visits already arranged by KOTRA on special request of the Organizing Committee in order to draw maximum benefits from this visit.

•  The delegates would be representing Pakistan and should therefore try their level best to project Pakistan 's image at all fora abroad.

•  Delegates attending this exhibition shall undertake related travel at their own risk and should be covered by adequate insurance at their own.
