GUIDELINES FOR FILLING OUT ONLINE VISA REQUEST AT MIDEST WEBSITE

 

Dear Participants

 

Kindly follow the following guidelines for online filling of visa request form at MIDEST website. This is a pre-requisite to obtain invitation letter from the MIDEST organizers for processing of French visa.

  • Go to www.midest.com

  • Select the English version at the top right of the page.

  • Enter your login and password already assigned to you under the Exhibitors Only link (orange color) on the left side panel

  • A fresh page will open. Click the visa request link that is the second last link on the left side panel of the page.

  • A fresh page will appear with visa request heading. Click http://www.midest.com/GB/Visa (orange color) 

  • A fresh page will appear, click OK

  • A visa request form will appear on a fresh page

  • Kindly fill out each information correctly

  • In the column “Specify the precise form of the French presence (Embassy, Consulate, …)* write “Embassy of the French Republic”

  •  In the address Column write “G/5, Diplomatic Enclaves”

  •  In the town column write “Islamabad”

  •  In the post code write “44000”

  •  In the country write “Pakistan”

  •  In the fax column write “051-2822240

EDB in continuation to previous practices has initiated Competitiveness and Efficiency improvement Exercise for the budget FY 2012-13, to achieve the objective of Competitveness and Productivity. Mr. Aziz Ahmad Bilour, Federal Secreatary Ministry of Industries held meeting with the representatives of Pak Suzuki, Indus Motor Company, Landi Renzo, Tesla, BRC about difficult situation being faced by OEM's and CNG kit manufacturers after the imposition of ban on the import and installation of CNG kits on 15th December 2011. The Engineering Development Board believes that Pakistan can exploit the latent potential in auto sector and generate huge employments for the burgeoning youth of the country.Mr Aitazaz A. Niazi , CEO EDB has said in a meeting with Karachi Chamber of commerce & industry (KCCI) that EDB is working on different projects for prompting them at large scale of economy.EDB is giving final touches to the new entrant auto policy which is expected to be submitted before the economic Co-ordination Committee of cabinet shortly.
